Summer Camp Trainings
GHW provides camp counselor training and support to better understand their campers and create a positive camp experience!
Our training involves three components:
1) Staff training
GHW can provide customizable training to your camp staff on a variety of topics (see below). During the initial meeting, we can design a training structure based on your camp needs.
2) Consultation
Throughout the camp season, GHW can provide small group meetings with staff to check in and provide problem-solving strategies as needed.
3) Counseling support
Everyone needs support sometimes. GHW can be a referral source for your campers and their families. GHW can also provide small group programs at your camp to work on emotional regulation and social skills.
