High school life is demanding but there’s no need to go it alone!
Join Omayra Rodriguez, LCSW and high school peers for this eight week group that’ll help you navigate your life with ease. See below for more details:
This group begins Tuesday, October 22, 2019 and runs from 6:30-7:30pm for eight weeks.
Who is this group for? This group is for teenagers trying to make sense of a world that is always asking more of them. There’s pressure for academic excellence, for athletic achievement, to be popular, to look a certain way, and to navigate an increasingly technological existence. Today’s world is challenging for teens.
What can teens expect? This group will provide teenagers with information and a space to talk and make plans for how to find balance in their lives. Youth will also be encouraged to bring their own topics of concern to the group. Participants will leave the group with the tools to cope with the challenges of adolescence and will benefit from the support and encouragement of peers and a highly skilled, good-humored social worker with extensive experience leading teen groups and individual psychotherapy.
